Photos with busy backgrounds (such as grass, trees, or textured scenery), multiple people or subjects, or close-up features like hair and facial details will naturally result in more sections to paint. Simpler images with clear subjects and clean backgrounds tend to produce a more straightforward painting experience.
While higher detail can make the painting more challenging, it also allows for a more accurate and expressive final result. Choosing a clear, well-lit photo with a simple composition will help balance detail and paintability.
